Appointments Available to Visit Special Collections
The Special Collections Research Center is currently open to Appalachian State University members (students, staff, faculty) BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
Appointments are available:
To visit, browse, and check out materials from the open (circulating) collections (Appalachian Collection, Stock Car Collection):
Mondays, by appointment, 1 pm - 5 pm;
Fridays, by appointment, 1 pm - 5 pm.
To research in the closed collections (University Archives, other archival / manuscript materials, Rare Books):
Thursdays, 10 am - 1 pm.
Appointments are taken in one-hour blocks. Please make an appointment 24 hours or more in advance for browsing, 48 hours in advance for closed materials research (to allow materials to be located and held for you).
